In November, a team of STRIDE researchers attended the 2014 Obesity Society Conference in Boston, Mass., and presented findings from the Fit for Delivery research study.
STRIDE Researchers Partner with French Hospital Medical Center

Cal Poly and French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) have entered into a research collaboration. By combining the research and analytical skills of Cal Poly faculty with medical data and practitioner expertise from FHMC, the two institutions hope to provide higher quality care at FHMC and contribute to knowledge and best practices in the field of health.

Connect Academy: STRIDE Partners with the Institute for Advanced Technology and Public Policy

STRIDE is partnering with Cal Poly’s Institute for Advanced Technology and Public Policy to develop a nutrition education curriculum for students who have immigrated recently, have low literacy and are living in resource-poor communities in California.

Over the past year, the Pink and Dude Chefs program expanded to include the YMCA of Middle Tennessee and Shandon Elementary School in Shandon, Calif.
