Jun 26, 2013

June 13, 2013

STRIDE, now renamed to Center for Health Research, is happy to announce that as of June 2013, FLASH data will be available for use. Following the Longitudinal Aspects of Student Health (FLASH) was a Cal Poly-based prospective cohort study that recruited incoming freshmen in fall 2009 and fall 2010 and collected data until spring 2012.

We have a broad range of survey data including socio-demographic, dietary, physical activity, stress, media use and more. Physical assessments, glucose and cholesterol panels, vitamin D measurements, and resting energy expenditure assessments were also conducted among different sub-samples.

Please email us at healthresearch@calpoly.edu if you are interested in analyzing, presenting and publishing the data or to discuss other opportunities these data offer.
