STRIDE Welcomes Two New Student Employees

A big STRIDE welcome to Nina Heintz and Kory Bettencourt. As PR media and graphics coordinator, Heintz will be making STRIDE promotional materials and helping update the Center’s website and create the newsletter. Bettencourt, incoming Assessment Team program coordinator, will be running A-Team programming.

PR & Graphics Coordinator

What do you do at STRIDE?

I am on the PR media and graphics team at STRIDE. I take pictures at different STRIDE events, as well as support STRIDE branding when designing logos, event flyers and more. 

What do you like to do in your free time?

I'm very active and love playing tennis, hiking and riding horses. I also love adventuring around San Luis Obispo and taking lots of pictures of the beautiful place we live.

What is your favorite food?

Any kind of Mexican food, but pizza is always a top choice.

Assessment Team Program Coordinator

Kinesiology Graduate Student

What do you do at STRIDE?

Currently I am interning under Haley, the program coordinator/instructor of A-Team. Starting next fall, I will be taking over as the program coordinator for A-Team. 

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to fish and golf. Luckily, living in the San Luis Obispo area offers the best of both worlds with beautiful places to fish and also beautiful golf courses. I also enjoy reading whenever I have the chance. 

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food would have to be chicken parmesan.
